Bible Text: Exodus 3:1-6

Reflection & Application

Exodus 3:1-6

  • Moses was 80 when this event happened.  For 40 years, he had been “keeping the flock of father-in-law, Jethro.”  What lessons can I learn about life and about being called and used by God?

  • Reflect on the words “the bush was burning, yet it was not consumed.”  If the bush was more than just a way to get Moses’ attention, what message about being God’s instrument does the burning yet unconsumed bush convey?
