Bible Text: Exodus 12:14-28

Reflection & Application

Exodus 12:14-20

  • The Israelites were to commemorate the Passover annually as “a memorial day” and “statute forever”. What principles and truths would be instilled throughout their generations as they did so?

Exodus 12:21-28

  • During the Passover, God both defeated an enemy as he “struck the Egyptians” and set His people free when he “spared [their] houses”. Reflect on how through the blood sacrifice of Jesus, I too have experienced God defeating the enemy of sin and death and delivering me into a new identity and purpose.
