Bible Text: Exodus 13:1-16
Reflection & Application
Exodus 13:1-2,12-13
- Given the experience of the tenth plague, what might be the message God was trying to communicate to His people by requiring the consecration of every firstborn? Have I accepted God’s ownership over my entire life, including what is most precious?
Exodus 13:9-10
- What lessons about human nature can I learn from the fact that God establishes these ordinances as a “sign on your hand and as a memorial between your eyes”?
- What are the ways I regularly commemorate what God has done in my life?
